By purchasing, downloading, or using AlliHat, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use AlliHat.
What AlliHat is
AlliHat is a Safari extension that lets you interact with Anthropic's Claude AI while browsing. It requires your own Claude API key from Anthropic. AlliHat is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Anthropic or Apple.
License
When you purchase AlliHat, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on your own devices. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse-engineer, or modify AlliHat.
Subscriptions and payment
AlliHat costs $29/year, billed through Gumroad. A 7-day free trial is available. You can cancel anytime through your Gumroad account. Refunds are handled by Gumroad according to their policies.
Your API key and costs
AlliHat requires a Claude API key that you obtain directly from Anthropic. You are responsible for any API usage charges from Anthropic. We have no control over Anthropic's pricing, rate limits, or terms of service. We are not responsible for any charges you incur from Anthropic.
What we're responsible for
We'll do our best to keep AlliHat working well and to fix bugs. However, AlliHat is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that:
- AlliHat will work with every website or Safari version
- Claude's responses will be accurate, complete, or appropriate
- The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AlliHat will be compatible with future macOS or Safari updates
What we're not responsible for
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of AlliHat. This includes but is not limited to:
- Costs incurred from Anthropic's API
- Actions taken by Claude in Agent Mode
- Decisions made based on Claude's responses
- Data sent to Anthropic's API
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for AlliHat in the 12 months before the claim.
Agent Mode
AlliHat's Agent Mode allows Claude to interact with web pages on your behalf (clicking, typing, scrolling, navigating). You are responsible for supervising Agent Mode and for any actions it takes. Use it at your own risk.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use AlliHat to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Violate Anthropic's acceptable use policy
- Scrape websites in violation of their terms of service
- Automate actions on websites where automation is prohibited
Termination
You can stop using AlliHat at any time by uninstalling the extension and canceling your Gumroad subscription. We reserve the right to revoke your license if you violate these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of AlliHat after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
