How to connect Airtable in Safari.
- Install AlliHat. Download it from the Mac App Store, then turn it on in Safari Settings > Extensions. Allow access to the pages you want to use.
- Choose your AI. Sign in with ChatGPT or connect another supported AI provider. Already chatting in AlliHat? You can skip this step.
- Connect Airtable. Open the three-dot menu, choose Connected apps, find Airtable, and click Connect. Sign in to Airtable and choose the bases you want to use. You need editing access to add or change records.
- Ask for what you need. Once it says Connected, go back to the page and send your request. Use the example above, or ask in your own words.
Use the table you already have.
You might keep a list of venues, products to compare, or companies to contact. Tell AlliHat the table name and what matters to you. For venues, that could be the address and capacity. For products, it might be the price and delivery time.
"Which venues on my list can hold at least 100 people?"
Having trouble?
Missing a base? Check which bases you shared when you connected Airtable. If you can see a table but cannot add to it, check that your Airtable account has editing access.
If you need to sign in again, open Connected apps, select Airtable, and choose Refresh connection. If a request gets interrupted, check Airtable before sending it again.
For account requirements, see Airtable's connection help.
